HHS Awards Nearly $90 Million to Community Health Centers to Advance Health Equity through Better Data
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), awarded nearly $90 million in American Rescue Plan funding to nearly 1,400 community health centers across the country to advance health equity through better data collection and reporting.
When the Boston Medical Center (BMC) started surveying its physicians and health professionals for burnout, the results showed the problem was prevalent. But to dive deeper into understanding the cause of burnout, Boston Medical Center’s leaders turned to data from the EHR.
The Senate on Sunday passed a nearly $700 billion bill which extends boosted Affordable Care Act subsidies and allows Medicare to negotiate some prescription drug pricing.
